You can call out key words or phrases in your presentation with emphasis text. Emphasis text highlights words by coloring them differently and can be applied to the main text fields of Content, Announcement, and Bible service items. It can be useful in call and response readings, with bi-lingual songs or Bible verses, or during a sermon or announcement slide to highlight especially important words or phrases.

Note: Emphasis text is not currently supported for song service items.

Apply Emphasis Text

To apply emphasis text, select a word or phrase and click the Emphasize text icon (Ctrl + H on Windows or ⌘Cmd + H on a Mac).

Change Emphasis Text Color

Change the text color by expanding the drop-down menu. The color you choose becomes the default color for future selections.

Note: Proclaim allows only one text emphasis color per text field.
