Finding a Group

When your church first signed up for Proclaim, two groups were created for you: a church group and a presentation team.

  1. The church group is for everyone at your church. It is a safe, edifying online community for fellowship with other believers in your church. Within your group, you can schedule events, share posts, make prayer requests, send newsletters, discuss your Bible reading, and much more. The best way to join is to have someone in your group invite you to join, but it is also possible to search for a group and ask to join. If you want to find and join your church group, follow the steps below—though the article is optimized for finding and joining a presentation team.
  2. The presentation team is for everyone at your church who builds your presentations each week. Because Proclaim licenses are shared with your team, once you join your team, you will have access to your group’s full Proclaim license. The best way to join is to have someone already on the presentation team invite you to join, but it is also possible to search for your team and ask to join.

You can find and join a group either from Faithlife.com or directly from Proclaim.

Find a Group on Faithlife.com

1. Log in to Faithlife.com.

Navigate to Faithlife.com and enter your username and password. This is the same as your login credentials for Proclaim or Logos. If you do not have an account yet, create a new one for free.

2. Search for your church group.

Enter your church name in the search bar. Faithlife displays churches and groups matching your entry.

Select your church from the list, then navigate to the left hand side and look under Teams. If your church has a Proclaim presentation team, you will see it listed there.

Note: Sometimes a church group and a presentation group are not connected. If you don’t see a Proclaim presentation group listed under the Teams section, search for your church presentation group in the search bar.

3. Request to join the group.

Hover over the presentation group you wish to join and click the Ask to join button. This sends a message to the group administrator, and the button changes to a status bar indicating You have requested to join.

4. Begin collaborating.

Once your request is approved, you receive a notification when you launch Proclaim. You are now free to collaborate with your team in Proclaim. Explore the basics of working with your team in Proclaim.

Find a Group on Proclaim

1. Find an existing group.

Navigate to the account menu in the top right corner of the Proclaim app and select Change Presentation Team….

Select Find an Existing Group and type in the name of the group you’re looking for.

2. Request to join.

Clicking the presentation group sends a request to the group administrator. If your request has not been approved, your request is listed as Pending.

Click Close to return to the main Proclaim screen.

3. Begin collaborating.

Once your request is approved, you receive a notification when you launch Proclaim. You are now free to collaborate with your team in Proclaim. Explore the basics of working with your team in Proclaim.
