How do I make my motion backgrounds loop?

Print Friendly and PDF

Proclaim automatically loops your motion backgrounds so they don't become still images in the middle of a song or sermon.

But maybe you just want to play your background once. To toggle this option, choose your service item, then click the Loop video checkbox in the Edit Preview.

If you don't see this option and your motion backgrounds aren't looping, read ahead to the next section to learn more.

Don't see that option?

Video Item

If you don't see that option, you may have applied your motion background as a Video Item. When video media is applied to a Video Item or added to a presentation as a Video Item, the default behavior is Do Nothing. Video Items are intended to be used for video announcements, bumper videos, and other situations where the video is the main focus. If you want to change this behavior, Video Item gives three options: Automatically advance to the next slide, Loop continuously, and Do Nothing.
