You can add prayers to personal prayer lists or group prayer lists. 

Note: Prayer lists are separate from newsfeed prayer requests, which publish your requests to the newsfeed and allow others to comment and interact with your requests. 

Add Prayers to Personal Prayer Lists

To add prayers to a personal prayer list: 

1. Navigate to Faithlife.com and sign in.
2. Click Add in the right-hand sidebar Prayers widget.

The Prayers widget is visible by default. If you’ve removed it, you can add it again from the Sidebar tab in your Account Settings. 

3. Choose your personal prayer list.

You can create a new prayer list in one of our Bible study apps either the Faithlife Study Bible or Logos app, whichever you prefer. 

4. Add a Title and Details.

5. Set a Schedule.

6. Click Save.

Your prayers will display in your right-hand sidebar on Faithlife.com and in one of our Bible study apps—either the Faithlife Study Bible or Logos app, whichever you prefer. Once you pray for a request, check the corresponding box.

You can edit a previous request by selecting it and clicking Edit.

To add an answer, select the prayer request and click Add answer. Provide your answer and click Save. 

Answered prayers display below remaining prayers.

Add Prayers to Group Prayer Lists

To add requests to a group prayer list:

1. Navigate to your group on Faithlife.com and sign in.
2. Click Add in the Prayers widget.

Your group's prayer list is located in the right-hand sidebar.

Note: The Prayers widget is visible by default. If you’ve removed it, an administrator can add it again from the Sidebar tab in the group’s Account Settings.

If the group already has a prayer list, you will be prompted to Connect. 

Note: By default, only admins, moderators, and members can add to group prayer lists. Group prayer lists are, however, available to followers by default, which means anyone who wants to follow your church on faithlife.com will see all group prayer lists.

3. Choose your group’s prayer list.
4. Add a Title and Details.
5. Set a Schedule.
6. Click Save.

Your sidebar Prayers widget on your homepage will display both your personal and group requests. 

Note: Only those who create a request can mark the request as answered.

To remove yourself from a group prayer list, navigate to Documents from your Profile, find the prayer list, and click Actions.
