Record Your Live Stream Locally with OBS

Many live stream platforms auto-record your streams. You can also set OBS to record to your machine locally.

1. Go to Settings.

Open OBS and click on Settings.

2. Customize your recording.

Under the Output settings, set a recording path and make any other adjustments to the output file.

3. Enable recordings.

To manually record your services, click Start Recording.

To automatically record every time you go live, check Automatically record when streaming under the General settings. When you start streaming, OBS will record locally to your computer.

Note: You can upload your saved recording to your group's file vault and then share it with your church or anywhere you have a presence online.
