With Faithlife Giving, you can edit any gifts given to your church from your Finance Team.

Edit Online Gifts
You can change fund allocations for any gift given through your online giving form.
1. Navigate to the gift you want to edit.
Locate the manual gift you want to edit and view its details. The easiest way to locate a gift is by going to the Gifts tab in your Finance Team and then clicking on the gift from the list.
Note: While you can find manual gifts from the Gifts tab, you can also locate them when viewing a Givers record or even while viewing Deposits.
2. Enter edit mode.
Click the more options menu and choose Edit.
3. Make adjustments and click Done.
You can reassign the gift to any fund(s).
When you’re done making edits, click Done. Faithlife will update the information everywhere—the donor’s Giver Portal, year-end giving statement, your Finance Team, the person record, and anywhere else the gift is visible.
Edit Manual Gifts
You can edit any manual gift when viewing it, changing any details related to the gift.

1. Navigate to the gift you want to edit.
Locate the manual gift you want to edit and view its details. The easiest way to locate a gift is by going to the Gifts tab in your Finance Team and then clicking on the gift from the list.
Note: While you can find manual gifts from the Gifts tab, you can also locate them when viewing a Givers record or even while viewing Deposits.
2. Click Edit.
Expand the More options menu and choose Edit.
Note: You can also print a receipt, send a receipt electronically (if an email address is associated with the giver’s account), add to a batch deposit, or delete the gift from this same menu.
3. Edit the gift’s details and click Done.
Adjust any of the details connected to the gift, including fund designations and amounts.
When you’re done making edits, click Done. Faithlife will update the information everywhere—the donor’s Giver Portal, year-end giving statement, your Finance Team, the person record, and anywhere else the gift is visible.
