Kiosk mode lets people give to your church securely from a public device. Once the giver completes their gift, kiosk mode returns to a blank giving form for the next giver. All givers receive an emailed receipt and any givers who give using an email address with an associated Faithlife account can view their gift in their Giving portal on Faithlife.com.
Note: When you enter kiosk mode, Faithlife logs you out so givers cannot view your finance team. Kiosk mode describes the way your giving form works and does not restrict givers to the given web browser, tab, or website. If you set up a public kiosk, take necessary security precautions, such as using a guest account, logging out of personal services, and/or locking any personal data on the machine. Services are available to turn your computer or tablet into a single-application experience for a true kiosk experience (e.g., Guided Access accessibility feature for iOS or iPadOS).

Launch Kiosk Mode
You can set up a tablet, computer, or phone in kiosk mode from your Finance Team.
1. Navigate to your Finance Team.
Go to Faithlife.com and sign in. Choose your Finance Team in the left-hand panel.
2. Open kiosk mode.
Click Overview in the left-hand Admin navigation panel and click the blue Launch Kiosk button.
A prompt will remind you that “Launching kiosk mode will sign you out of Faithlife.” Click Launch.
Note: To leave kiosk mode, navigate to another website. In order to enable it again, repeat the steps shown above.
Use Kiosk Mode
Kiosk Mode displays your giving form in a “guest mode.” People can give like normal but the kiosk will not ask users to log in and will return to the blank giving form as soon as the giver completes the donation.
Kiosk mode is different than the normal giving form in these important ways:
- Givers must provide an email address (for an emailed receipt), but will not have the option to log into their account.
- Even if they have a card or bank account on file, they will need to manually enter it again when using kiosk mode.
- Finishing the gift will return the screen to the blank giving form.
Note: Depending on your giving form settings, givers may need to provide other information (like a mailing address). All other normal giving features are still available in kiosk mode, like setting up recurring gifts, covering processing fees, and anything else you’ve enabled on your giving form.
When givers click Give, kiosk mode briefly shares a giving confirmation screen and then returns to a blank giving form for the next giver after a few seconds.
All givers receive an emailed receipt and any givers who give using an email address with an associated Faithlife account can view their gift in their Giving portal.
Note: If you find multiple giver records for the same giver, you can merge the two records from the People section of your parent church group. Learn more.
