You control who sees your Faithlife account information. (Learn more about your personal privacy settings.) If you update your personal information, you can share it with your church so they can update the Church Directory.
Note: Your church group owns and operates your Church Directory, though you can allow them to incorporate your personal account information to update the Directory with new information. If you are a group admin, learn more about updating your People Records when people update their Faithlife profile information.
1. Open your Account Settings.
Navigate to Faithlife.com and login with your Faithlife email and password. Click your profile image and click Account Settings.
2. Update your information.
Ensure the Profile tab is selected and update any information—photos, contact information, social media accounts, etc.
3. Grant permission to group admins.
For most information, a slider appears, letting you set who can view it. Ensure each item you want to be available for your church is set at least to Group Admins (Co-members and Everyone will also grant access to your Group Admins). Allowing Group Admins to access your information means they can pull that information into the Directory.
Note: Not all information can be shown in the Directory and inclusion in the Directory is not automatic. If you are a group admin, learn more about updating your People Records when people update their Faithlife profile information. Communicate directly with your group admin about what information you’d like included.
