Why can’t I add/update my credit card info?

In August of 2022, Faithlife enhanced security around credit card entry in order to keep your credit card info safe in compliance with the most up-to-date standards.

As a result, older versions of Proclaim may encounter errors when adding or updating billing information. If you do encounter an error, go to Help > About, update Proclaim to the latest version and try again.

Workaround for old Proclaim apps


If you run into issues adding your billing info and are unable to update Proclaim:




  1. Click cancel, then Manage Account. Your web browser will open to faithlife.com. If you don't see this option, you can get to the same place by closing the purchase screen, clicking on your Avatar in the upper right, then Manage Subscriptions.
  2. Sign in with the same account you use in Proclaim. If you're already signed in, skip to the next step.
  3. Click Billing Info, select New Credit Card, and enter your billing information.

After adding your credit card, go back to Proclaim and retry your purchase. You may need to click Previous and then Next again to load your new billing profile.

You should now see your billing info added and can continue checking out.
